  There are lots of options. A sticky post, image widget, or text (html) widget are the most common.

  Thanks a lot… the image widget worked. Honestly, i love the interactiveness in this wordpress.

  What if i want to place it as a banner image? Or let me say some other positions on the blog? How do i go about that?
