i am trying to embed a flash code into my WP site. When I went to embed Kimili Flash (as recommended) in the plug ins directory.. a nasty message popped up saying I probably shouldn’t be here.. and then directed me to this page… so here i am. I was wondering if you could assist me :)

    Thanks :D

oh i see.. i was not aware of this. Thanks! One more thing. I have a hosting site for a website i’m working on. It has content and custom flash and graphics.. the works. However, its a really old site and it needs up dated and the original web designer is long gone. It’s my job to re-vamp it, if you will. Rather than fuss with someone else’s code, I was hoping to start a new and change it to a site that already has themes to choose from .. (so the layout is consistent throughout.. which isn’t the case on this site) .. and edit to my bosses content. This is why I was enquiring about the Flash.. he has a wicked cool flash animation that we dont want to loose. If you have any suggestions, please do let me know! switching over to wordpress.org… good idea or not?

  • If you switch over to WordPress.org, there are no restrictions on Flash content, so it should work quite well for you.

    Hey thanks man!

I am a novice at this stuff, but eager to learn. Could you recommend any good resources for accomplishing a task such as switching over a website without screwing it up?

  • I don’t have much experience with that myself, but the talented folks at http://wordpress.org/support/ should be able to help.
