How do I add a poll when the "add a poll" button is missing?
-
I know I saw the “add a poll” button above the editor window before, but now it is gone. I thought it might have been because I created the draft on my phone, but I trashed that post and went to create a new one and the only button above the editing box is “add media.” Any ideas? Thanks!

Will you please let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com?
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/? -

Thank you!
I am on a Dell Latitude PC laptop, with Windows 7. My browser is Chrome 39.0.2171.99.
Earlier today I was working on a Samsung Galaxy with Android, but I wasn’t expecting it to have the “add a poll” function, as the formatting capabilities in the mobile editing version is more limited than on a PC.

Thanks so much for providing all those details. They will be helpful when Staff work their way forward to this thread. As they have a backlog please be patient while waiting.

@NotgigglesButchuckles
The “add a poll” option is available when you create posts via WP-admin. Here’s a link:

Huh, there it is! I guess if I press the “new post” pencil icon when I’m on the stats page, it does not appear, but if I go through the WP-admin it does?
Thanks for your help!
