How do I add a Search widget into a theme?

  I bought the Swell theme. I am trying to add a search button into the middle of the page vs the footer. Is there a short code to add the search widget into a page or post?

  HI!

  There currently isn’t a way to embed a search form within a page. We don’t have a shortcode setup for that just yet. However, I’ll add it to our ideas list for future consideration!
