How do I add a side panel which will contain archives to the left of my blog?

  Hi,

  I’ve noticed that my left panel where it contains archives are gone.

  Can somebody advise me how do I make it appear there again?

  The reason I need to have the archives at the site is because it aids in navigation. No doubt I don’t have many posts now but I do not want this problem to snowball into greater problem and I have to start all over again.

  So, I really hope someone can teach me how.

  Please consult your theme description closely knowing that not every themes is designed to have a sidebar of every page in the blog.

  Hi timethief,

  Appreciate it that you took the time to answer my queries.

  I have added the widget and I believe it should appear at the footer.

  The links you sent me indicated the archives will appear monthly. Is that why I won’t be able see my archives till September since I only started this blog in August.

  The archives widget should appear instantly. In Wu Wei, the widgets are only available in the footer. If you added an archives widget, then it should be there, at the bottom rather than the side. But I don’t see it. Did you click on “Save Changes” before you left the widgets editor?

  Hi 1tess,

  You were spot on about the saving thing.
  So, I tried and it worked. However, I didn’t like the archives appear in monthly format as I preferred the archives appeared in categories form.

  So, I did a change.

  But, after dragging the widget to the footer, and choosing the post count option, I refresh my page, there isn’t any archives displayed, even after I saved.

  Please advise. Thanks.
