How do I add a slider?

Hello, I wanted to know if there is a way to change the background color to white on the Gallery widget. or if there is another widget I can add to my Lifestyle theme that shows my featured pictures entirely instead of a little box because I don’t like the way the gallery widget using the slideshow option looks.

It doesn’t look like the Gallery widget is currently active on your site. Could you put it back up so I can take a look at the required CSS to make that change?

The Gallery widget is going to be your best bet for displaying images that you have uploaded to WordPress.com. We do offer other widgets for third-party services like Flickr as shown here:
But, the Gallery widget is the main option when it comes to displaying images at WordPress.com. Besides the background color, could you let me know a bit more about what you don’t like? Perhaps some of it is adjustable.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but I put up the slider and I wanted to know if it could be more squared and if the picture can take up the entire box. If you could help me in this I would appreciate it.

There isn’t a default way to change the image size within the gallery widget. You’ll probably need to use a bit of CSS. Could you ask within the CSS Customization forum here?
