How do I add a subsribe button?

    I have a wordpress blog embedded in my website and I’m wondering how do I add a subscribe button? There are links for RSS for comments and posts but isn’t there a “regular” subscribe?

    For example in the admin panel I can add subscribers but obviously I want people to be able to subscribe by themselves. Can someone please explain how to do this?

    Isn’t there something like a “follow” like on twitter, live journal and many other blogging sites for other wordpress users? Is that yet a 3rd way to subscribe besides RSS?

    Someone please straighten me out here. Thanks.
