how do i add a testimonials carousel/slider to my 20/13 theme

  how do i add a testimonials carousel/slider to my 20/13 theme

  i have the upgrade. but i can only find ways to add IMAGES, not TEXT

  i want to add a series of quotes.

  please can you help?

  I found a workaround using the gallery widget, and taking screen grabs of text, resizing in Preview, uploading file to library as pngs and then tweaking. Not perfect but it works!

  Hi there!

  That’s a really great workaround!

  It looks like several of the photos on your ‘Journalism’ page have non-screen grabbed captions when opened in the carousel.

  You can edit the captions on the photos through the Media Library. If you open an individual image, you’ll see a ‘Caption’ box below it. An example of this would be your “City of People” image.
