how do i add a theme from Elegant Themes?

click the Appearances > Themes tab to open up the themes page. Click the “Add New” button on the top of the screen. BUT I DONT HAVE THE “ADD NEW” OPTION. thanks!

The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs like your blog are the themes found here http://wordpress.com/themes/
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,

If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

im just a little bit confuse because Elegant Themes is telling me to go to the wordpress dashboard and add my theme, i just downloaded the wordpress.org file. i dont think im going anywhere from there. so how do i install it or make it work. im not sure if i get the hiring of web host and stuff…sorry im just confused. thanks again -
It’s for a WordPress.ORG install.
You cannot use it on a WordPress.COM hosted blog.
If you plan to continue to have your blog hosted here at WordPress.COM get a refund. -
this is really frustrating, just wanted to thank you for your help. i still dont know how to make it work. i tried wordpress.org and there are to many errors withing the ZIP package i got from elegant themes and i cant be upload…what do i do then?
