How do I add a time zone widget
-
Hi,
I would like to add some type of ticker thingy to my blog that will show what time it is in South Africa. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Do a google search for html clocks. If you can find one that’s just html you can put it in a text widget.

ok, so why can’t I get this code to work…I pasted it into a text widget from:
http://www.timeanddate.com/clocks/free.html?n=269
<iframe src=”http://free.timeanddate.com/clock/i11txvuy/n269/fs12/bo2/tt0/tw1/tm2/td1/ts1″ frameborder=”0″ width=”164″ height=”19″></iframe>

Thanks vivianpaige…can you (or anyone) advise where I can get a plain HTML clock…I’ve searched, but can’t find anything that will work. I simply want to display the current time in South Africa on my blog. I’m not good with code…so please help.

I did a quick search and didn’t find anything that didn’t use iframes or javascript. Sorry.

I did a Google search and it appears they all use iframes or java script
to keep the clock current with the correct time which Iframes and JavaScript
is not allowed here….sorry

‘<img src=”http://free.timeanddate.com/clock/i11txvuy/n269/fs12/bo2/tt0/tw1/tm2/td1/ts1″ >’
Try the above code, I altered it a little. I am on a smartphone so can’t test everything, but when I used:
http://free.timeanddate.com/clock/i11txvuy/n269/fs12/bo2/tt0/tw1/tm2/td1/ts1
it worked!
