How do I add a user to my blog?
-
I’ve invited an user to be an administrator to my blog, but when she clicks “Accept Invitation” via the invitation email, she is prompted to create her own blog, not create a username/password to the existing blog. Is there another way to invite a user?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here is info on adding new users. http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
Are these the steps you followed when you added your new user?

The person needs only to create a username account and there is an option for that provided for that purpose “username account only, please”.
Here is what the relevant support doc states:
They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.
Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.
If the person is not successful post again and provide all the details including the email address of the person. The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Thank you both for your help. I was able to find the text that says “username account only, please” and set her up on our blog. I’ve invited many users and never had this issue, so not sure why it occurred. Oh well, we are all set now! Thanks again!
