How do I add additional contributors

Sent out emails to people to become contributors. When they accepted, nothing happened. The pasochamberblog doesn’t show in their menu anywhere, once they’ve signed up for their own blog (why do they have to have their own blog when they just want to be a contributor on this blog?). Help! I’ve spent more than 4 hours trying to figure this out.

They don’t need their own blog, but they do need a WordPress.com account. They’re given the option to skip blog creation when registering.
Would you please try resending their invitation from Users -> Invite New in your blog’s Dashboard?
