How do I add another category to my category widget
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You do not add Categories to a Categories widget. You add them in your dashboard http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#adding-categories-via-the-dashboard or to posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#adding-categories-via-the-categories-module and the widget merely displays what has been added there. There must be at least one published post in a Category for the Categories widget or dynamic Category page to have data to display.
Only Posts can have Tags and Categories assigned to them.
