  I just purchased a domain on hostinger and I want to add my new domain name here without losing any followers.

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I am not sure if adding a new domain on my existing wordpress site is better or should I import my blog posts to my new domain?

  Hi there,

  You can add your domain to your existing site. It won’t affect your content or your followers in any way, and the free address will still work. The only change will be that if someone goes to your site, they’ll see your custom domain in the browser address bar instead of the free address.

  When I tried to add existing domain, it’s directing me to purchase WordPress pro and asking me pay. Is it normal?

  That is correct. To use a custom domain name here at WordPress.com, we do require you to upgrade to one of our paid plans. However, you can upgrade to Starter instead of Pro if you don’t need the features that Pro provides.
