Hi there. To add a self-hosted site to My Sites you’ll need to install the Jetpack plugin to that site. For help with that, please visit the Jetpack page and/or the Jetpack forum on WordPress.org as we can’t help you with that in this forum: http://jetpack.me/support/
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackAs for the sites you want removed, please reply with their URLs so we can advise you further.

Hi. Thanks for the response. Do I need the Jetpack plugin even if the site I’m trying to add to My Sites is a WordPress site?
Thanks.

For a WordPress.org site like http://www.susienorris.com/ you’ll need Jetpack. For a free WordPress.com site like https://susienorris.wordpress.com/ you don’t. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, even though they have the same name: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you have a WordPress.com site in this account that’s not appearing on My Sites, go to the My Blogs page on the WP-Admin dashboard (https://susienorris.wordpress.com/wp-admin/. On that page you can set a blog to visible or hidden. That will determine whether the blog appears on the My Sites page or not.
