how do I add an external blog to my wordpress account

  Hello,

  This might be a stupid question… but I just can’t seem to add my external blog to my wordpress account (for the stats and API key). I can’t find anyplace where I can add an external blog.

  It’s frustrating.

  a blog that’s not hosted on wordpress. and does not have a XXXX.wordpress.com url

  Well, I guess that’s why there are what so-called WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG. You can read the difference between the two at this forum’s Sticky Post.

  You need to add the WordPress.com Stats Plugin and then your blog off WP.com will be accessible via your dashboard here. It’ll still be very different, though. And you can’t have access to the global tag pages, etc.
