How do I add an image as well as copy in Swells secondary video area on the Home

  I’d like to add a static image and copy to the secondary video area on the Home page. I can see how to add copy and how to link it in the excerpt area but a bit unsure how to insert an image via the Secondary Video Customise area. There’s no upload facility..

  Is it also possible to change the order of where the secondary video appears? I’d like it at the bottom as I’d like to use it as a contact area.

  The Swell theme uses the Excerpt area to add copy to the secondary video area. Excerpts are only designed to display text, not media (like images), so there isn’t a way to add media to that area.

  If you have concerns about that, I’d recommend getting in touch directly with the theme author in the Swell theme forum to discuss how the theme is set up:

  That video is placed in a specific order on the page by the Swell theme, and the theme doesn’t offer a built-in way to change it. You may be able to change where it appears on the page using Custom CSS — if you’re interested in exploring that possibility, I’d recommend posting in the CSS Customization forum with details about where you’d like it to appear. The expert staff and volunteers in that forum can give you some guidance to see if that’s an option.

  Hi, I’ve mailed the css forum as you advise re the order this appears. And as I’ve mailed the forum (in case you might know anyway) what I’d really like is to just alter the colour of the background of this area. I have already put the copy in place, so that bits done.
