how do I add blogger blogs to blog surfer / readomattic

  I just migrated my blog from blogger to wordpress. There was a widget in blogger that allowed me to know when someone on my blogroll has updated their blogs. It made following the blogs I like much easier. 1) WP has blog surfer – how can I add blogger/other blogs to this blog surfer? 2) Is there a widget for wordpress similar to the one in blogger (see the blogroll widget in action in the right hand column at http://eye-in-sty-in.blogspot.com/) that will inform me when a blogger updates their blog?

  At this time you cannot. The blog surfer and readomatic only work with wordpress.COM blogs at this point.

  As far as alerts to updates on other blogs, about all I could suggest is to use RSS widgets for and put the feed links for those blogs into them.
