How do I add captions to a slideshow?

It is super easy to create a slide show (even for me) but I have not found a way to add captions. Is this possible?

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question so we Volunteers can locate it and provide a correct answer to your question. Also note that you can link it to your username so no time is wasted by us having to hunt for it every time your post to the support forums.Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

@gardensla, all you have to do is add a caption to each image, and the slideshow will automatically display the caption below the image. You can add captions to your images by editing your images in the Media Library.

P.S. Here are some ideas on how to style the captions if you want to change the font size, font color, etc.
