How do I add existing media library images to my existing gallery of images?

  I have a picture in my media library I want to add to my existing gallery of images. I can’t find a option that allows me to do so. Anyone know how? Is it even possible?

  Media is attached to a specific Post or Page. In order to have it appear in an existing Gallery you have to attach it to the Post or Page where the Gallery exists.

  Does the image already appear in a different Post or Page or is it “Unattached”?

  The media is unattached. It isn’t on any page or post. It’s just waiting to be placed into a gallery that already has pictures on a page.

  Thanks for the help! I just have to attach it to the page, then it’ll just show up in the gallery after WordPress processes it. Now if only I could remove images from a post somehow so it’s back to being unattached somehow.
