How do I Add Forums?

I am moving my website from zanesbrain.catinhatdesign.com to 6tscience.wordpress.com, and I can’t find a way to add a forum. Is there a plugin for this, or am I missing something on the admin console?

WordPress.com does not have forum functionality at this time, I’m afraid.
You might consider moving to a self-hosted WordPress.org site if having a forum is an important part of your site plans.

One approach is to register a forum on the internet and then create a custom menu in your blog and include a custom link to the forum in it.

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
