If you are with wordpress.com you can’t. If on the other hand you are with wordpress.org the follow what lavimusiclife advised. copy and paste that code into a text/html box

ok so how do we make any money? or dont we? like i want to express myself but blogs take a lot of time. i work day and night on them, just to say what i want to say and make them nice for other people to read. so will i get any compensation if i use this site? and why does it monitor traffic then?

If you can’t think of a reason to blog other than money from advertising or pay per post, you really should be flipping burgers for a living.

I am facing a little different kind of problem with my blog. When i am directly visiting my blog It is nice. But if i visit it from Google result page (

I see Ads by Google in my blog. The matter is that i didn’t put ad sense on my blog. Then why this is happening? -
That is not “a problem”, that is how wordpress.com works and that is how Automattic makes money for providing wordpress.com for free. You can upgrade to be ad-free, see “Upgrades” in your dashhoard.
