How do I add google adsense to my blog?

Hi!
I want to add google adsense on my website which is http://www.therealbucharest.wordpress.com.
I understood that there is no way of adding adsense to wordpress.com blogs is it right? How can I add adsense on my wordpress.com blog?
Do I have to move my blog to wordpress.org?
I have a friend that added adsense on his wordpress.com blog and he says that it is possible.

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

I have a blog called successvalues.com and it is not hosted on wp… if I do adsense or adword…would I be violating any wp terms?
