How do I add LINE BREAKS in the "About Me" section of my Gravatar profile?

The section is called “About Me” on the Gravatar site and “About you” on the “My Public Profile” portion of my WP Dashboard.

It appears on BOTH as if you have correctly added line breaks (like the one between the first sentence and this one), but when I add the “Gravatar Profile” widget to the sidebar of my blog, it REMOVES all of them and makes the text run together (which looks awful).

I’m currently using the “Hemingway Rewritten” custom WP design, if that helps to clear up the question. If it’s just a matter of “Oh, well that custom design naturally destroys the look of its sidebars!”, then I’ll just find the least obtrusive way around it that I can (which is currently a series of ellipses inside parentheticals).

Seriously, though – I don’t know Javascript or web design, but I shouldn’t think such a thing should be necessary for a few simple carriage returns.

Thanks in advance for your speedy reply.

Feel free to answer my original question (as I’m sure someone else might have this problem in the future), but I’ve decided to go in a different direction than using that particular widget… and have thereby basically solved my own problem.

You can’t. That little section is meant for a very brief branding bio. It’s your About page that where that lengthy entry belongs.
