How do I add links to categories?

Joyce Wadler here, tech challenged newbie.
I’m using the Press Row template and cannot figure out how to add links to categories. (I have a category called ‘The Underfinanced Production Company’ which links to stores I have published elsewhere and would like to add the names of those stories and links beneath it.)

When you add links from Write->Link there is a section to categorize the link. If you would like to add categories to a link you already added, you can go to Manage->Links and edit the link there.

You might want to contact support about those links to stores, since WordPress.com blogs are non-commercial.

mtdewvirus staff: can you break down the steps of manage-> Links. I’ve been trying to add from there without success.
Also, a correction to my original post, I am trying to link to stories I have published elsewhere. The word stores was a typo.

Stories posted elsewhere are not going to categorize the way that blog posts do. The categories on your blog only relate to the actual blog posts.
Now – you can set up a text widget and manually write links to those posts but that’s about the only way I can think of getting them on your blog.
