How do I add more posts to my theme?

I’m currently using the theme “Pictorico” on my blog: http://www.iamnotyourmother.com
and it says it “supports up to 10 posts in its featured content area.” But I’m wanting to change that 10 to a 12 so that it will be three rows of four.I feel like it’s possible because the theme preview shows much more content than it’s allowing for me, the problem is that I’m pretty new to the “theme editing.” Any help would appreciated! Thank you!

Have you tried resetting the “Blog pages show at most” number to 12 or 16? The default is 10. You can find that under Settings > Reading. Maybe that will work.

Just to clarify, this line actually refers to the optional “featured content” image slider in Pictorico, not the number of posts in the grid.
