how do I add my mac ical to a page of firstmontrose.wordpress.com?

I would like to add my mac icalendar to a page on my wordpress.com web site. I was able to add the google calendar but I deleted it when an event popped up that was from a different google customer in a different country.
I have exported the icalendar to my desktop but media would not accept it.
what am I doing wrong?

I found an event written in
Chinese on my Google Calendar. I feel uncomfortable using it because I don’t know if I’m being hacked or not and I would like other who are on the Board to be able to set dates and times as well.
I notice that on wordpress.org, there is a way to add ical. or an .ics file. For the moment I feel more comfortable using wordpress.com. If my firstmontrose.wordpress.com web site is approved by the board later this August we will purchase the entry level $18.00 annual fee. At some point in the future we may self host but I feel much more comfortable with wordpress as the host.
Please ask the powers that be if wordpress.com can please have the widget to use ical.

I think that I had already checked on this app several months ago.I think event bright is actually a business?
and they get paid if the user of their event planner sells ticket to the event?
So my take on it was that since we would not be selling tickets thereby we would not really be a customer and it might be unfair to use it.
If I am wrong in my understanding of what event bright is, please advise if you have the time.

No, you can create a free account.

Actually the best place to post for any IPad and/or iPhone problems is to the IOs forums where the developers are monitoring. Thanks TT for that contact. I will use it for a couple of issues that wll hopefully be of help to wordpress programmers and users re the iOS challenges.
However my issue in this forum topic does not have to do with iOS.
You are correct that I am currently using an iphone to communicate with you.
The issue here, put simply. Is that I would very much appreciate a plug in on worpress. Com that permitted me to use the Mac calendar .ics
I have concerns re: google calendar bc a Chinese writer set a date on my calendar. I assume the event he/she added is in china. I thought perhaps my google calendar was hacked by another google user. I would prefer to use apples iCal.

Most likely that is someone on Google Plus sending you an Invitation to a Hangout. I hate those things with a passion. It doesn’t mean your account has been hacked, it just means Google is being pushy with G+.

You will probably be waiting a number of years. In a different thread, though, someone mentioned she could get an RSS feed from her ical and put it in an RSS widget, which isn’t a graphical calendar but still works.
