How do I add new posts to my other pages?
-
Hello,
I can post on my front page with no problems, and have created three other pages, but I can’t figure out how to get posts onto my other pages. Every time I make a new post it goes onto the front page. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Please make sure you include your blog’s URL when you post a question, or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”.
All posts go to the posts page, not to static pages. If your intention is to arrange your posts into groups, you should assign different CATEGORIES to them.

I was curious about this myself. Does this help?

When you arrange your posts into different categories, you can easily add the Categories Widget to your sidebar from Appearance -> Widgets. This will provide all links to your category archive pages, which are – simply – pages the contain all posts attached to a particular category.
But as stated above, pages are meant to display static content, so you cannot publish posts to them.

This is your page where you can make posts: http://charliereport.wordpress.com/
This is a static page: http://charliereport.wordpress.com/about/
This is a category page: http://charliereport.wordpress.com/category/1000-things-to-do-before-i-die/ which was generated by clicking on one of your categories.
You haven’t made other pages, but if you are looking at a blog with a bunch of tabs or buttons across the top (usually the top), then those take you to pages created by the blogger. You could make a page about “Book recommendations” where you’d have a list of books that you think everyone should read.
