How do I add new posts to new pages?

  I am able to add new posts to my home page but I am not able to add new posts to my other pages. I only have one post on my other pages, which I can alter. How can I have multiple pages with the ability to add new posts to each?

  I’m afraid you cannot add posts to pages since pages are static content. However, it sounds like you may want to use Categories as a way of grouping your posts together, i.e. all Astronomy related posts. Is this correct?

  If so, you can add Categories to your posts by following the directions available here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

  You can then add links to your Category pages in your site’s menu by following these instructions:

  Categories seem good. I guess what I really want is for pages to be ‘active'(?) as in is it possible to have non static pages??

  Pages are a form of content, like posts, so they can’t actually contain posts.
