How do I add photos on the new version of WordPress?

    I was poked so many times to upgrade the version and I made it to it’s latest…and I personally find the new editor’s windows extremely confusing.
    Many other bits I was frustrated with was solved after spending time, but I just can’t add photos in a way I used to.

    What I expect is a button that says ‘add media’ and let’s me upload photos, creating a tag directly into the text I am playing with.
    But the button’s gone and no where to be found. At least, not easily.

    I am left with the tedious option of going to the ‘add new’ under ‘media’ in the side bar, thus making me leave my editing window, add photo, come back and re-open the editing window.

    Actually, I prefer the older editing window so if anyone knows how to do that too….that would be great! I appreciate all your help, thanks in advance.

    You can use Gallery Block to add multiple images to your post.

    You can add multiple images using Gallery Block.

    1. Click on ⊕ the icon on the top left corner of the editor.

    2. Search for Gallery, to add Gallery block in your post.

    3. Once the Gallery block is added you get two options to upload multiple images, Upload and Media Library.

    4. You can select your appropriate option and add multiple images to Gallery.

    Here is a time saving tip for you:

    You can also select multiple images and just drag them in your post which will automatically create a Gallery block.

    To switch to the classic editor, click on the ‘. . .’ settings icon in the upper right corner of the editing screen.

    Then, click on Switch to Classic Editor.
