How do I add photos to my blog from Google Photos?

I have a Google Photos account and have photos posted there. I have copied the link to these photos and tried to use them in my blog posts, but it hasn’t been working. I instead get a red notification that this format is not supported. Thank you for any help!

Hi there,
As discussed previously in this topic there is no way to embed Google photos on WordPress.com, as Google’s link isn’t recognized by WordPress.com as an image format.
You have to download the photos on your computer and upload them to your Media Library. You can read more here:
