How do I add pictures to my RSS feed so that they appear in the Bloglovin reader feed?

  None of my pictures show up in the Bloglovin feed, whether I add a featured image or not. I noticed other WordPress users have the same issue, while others display correctly. Please direct me to the correct procedure or help me set this up.

  Hi there,

  Bloglovin’ has indeed been giving a few WordPress.com users some troubles, and they sadly haven’t been very forthcoming with additional information on fixes. Depending on the user the issue has been different but in most cases the issue has been that Bloglovin’ software wants to see larger images attached to RSS feeds.

  In order to put larger images in place, you just need to change one setting in your blog. You need to log in to your Dashboard and then go to Settings >> Media. Where it says “Thumbnails” change it from 150 x 150 to at least 300 x 300 (it can be larger, but they seem to want at least 300).

  These changes take a few hours, as your entire feed needs to get re-generated. Also keep in mind that it will change how thumbnails look on your own site. But it should allow the images to show up on Bloglovin’.

  Let me know if it doesn’t work or if you run in to any issues!

  Hello,

  thanks for your reply and sorry for not getting back to you earlier, it took a few times to see what happened. I did change the size of the thumbnails as suggested but it did not seem to make any difference.
  I had to wait for a couple of posts with a featured image to realize it did not work.
  Today is the first time that my image is featured, and it is inserted at the top of the post, as opposed to most of my other images that are usually included within the text. Bloglovin seemed to pick it up for that reason. Of course I will have to do a few other posts with the image on top to verify that this is indeed the case.
  Hope this helps other bloggers.
