How do I add plug ins?

I’m trying to add a Facebook share plug-in, but I don’t know exactly how to upload it onto my wordpress? Any suggestions? ~ Joe from SD

We cannot give you an accurate answer until you post the URL for the blog in question starting with http:// This is because the answers for worddpress.com free hosted blogs are different from the answers for wordpress.ORG installs.

I think wordpress.com does not support plug-in. If you want to share to facebook please look this http://en.support.wordpress.com/addthis/

I am aware that we do not have FTP access to wordpress.COM blogs and cannot install plugins into them. I am also aware of the Publicize feature and 5 other different ways to Import wordpress.com post snippets into a Facebook fan page

However, if it proves that speedthepilgrim does not have a wordpress.COM blog like 30% of those who post here some days then all this typing will be for nothing. That’s another reason why we Volunteers ask for the URL before we provide answers.

What you wrote will only work with self-hosted blogs. You need to familiarize yourself with the differences by reading the sticky post at the top of the main forum page about the differences.
