We have paid for the customization feature for http://www.creativeexpertswebdesign.com but don’t have full access to adding plugins or deleting the footer??

- Third party plugins cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk.
Plugins are only usable on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

Attribution. Automattic reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com,’ theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and the WordPress.com toolbar may not be altered or removed regardless of upgrades purchased.

Thank you for your reply and yes i do need your support on the following:
1. The website is not showing instead i am getting a message ‘website is not available try again later’
2. The URL is hosted by GoDaddy. How do i transfer the website to GoDaddy?
3. If i move the website to .org how do i do that because i will have more functionality there in-terms of the plug-ins.

It appears as if you haven’t yet changed your domain’s name servers at GoDaddy to point the domain to your WordPress.com site.
Here are the instructions on how to do that:

Yes! You can install any plugins you’d like.

Hosting at WordPress.com is free, so you haven’t paid for hosting here. However, you do have two upgrades on your site: Domain Mapping and Custom Design. You won’t need these if you transfer to a self-hosted site, so I can cancel and refund those for you. Do be advised that if I cancel your mapping, http://creativeexpertswebdesign.com/ will no longer display your WordPress.com site. Make sure that you’re ready for your new site to go live before you cancel that upgrade. You have 30-days from the date of purchase to cancel for a full refund.

Absolutely! You can simply register a new domain name. Your current domain name is registered with GoDaddy. You can register the new name with them and map it to your self-hosted site.

Popups are not possible on WordPress.com sites as they require code that we don’t allow installed on our sites. As you do have the custom design upgrade, you do have the ability to adjust color, fonts, and your CSS code. In editing CSS, you can adjust almost all the elements that appear on your page — ie. you can make columns larger/smaller, make adjustments to alignment, or you can hide certain items.
One more thing is it possible to have a .com or even .org site where members data can be saved and their profiles can be created?
You can do that on a .com site, indeed. What you would do is add users to your site as authors. Then, they can create author profiles that can be displayed, if you’d like. Here’s a list of type of users/members you can add to your site:

There’s a learning curve, but once you know where everything is, it’ll be smooth sailing. You can find your domain settings by clicking Store → My Domains in your site’s Dashboard, or you can simply click here:

Hi Robyn,
I have started a new project artistnazarhaidri where i will be exhibiting all the artwork for this artist. The problem is that if i create a ‘portfolio’ page then i cannot see the link to in on the website. If i create a ‘normal’ page than i cannot auto sort his artwork we each painting will have a description underneath it. What is the best solution for this? Could you please also recommend the best theme for this?
Secondly is it possible to have an e-commerce element to this so that someone can select a painting and be given the option of paying for it online? Possibly check boxes where they can make a multiple selection before moving to the shopping cart or some payment option?

This cannot be adjusted. If you had the custom design upgrade, you could hide the Archives title, but it’s not editable without the upgrade.
About Custom Design:

This is possible, if you’d like something similar to what you see on the front page here:

If you want to create something similar, instead of using Projects to display your art work, you’d have to create Posts. Posts allow Featured Images, which will display as the background in the boxes, just like the demo. If this is something you care to do, you can do an experiment by creating a couple posts with the same name as your Projects (such as Jugalbandi and Music On Canvas). Then, copy and paste the content from the existing project into the corresponding post. Add a Featured Image to the post. Publish your post.
After you do that, you can go to the Customize area of your site, and where you see Front Page, choose “Art Work” as your Posts page. Then, save that change. When you take a look at the site, you’ll see those two experimental posts appear on the Art Work page, and they will display your Featured Image. If you like the way this looks, make the changes to the rest of your posts/projects. If not, you can revert to your old setup.
If you need assistance during this process, let me know. It does require you to organize your site in a different way, but it will give you the aesthetics you’re hoping to attain.

Many thanks for the advise. I have done as instructed but the post has not appeared in the Art Work section yet. I have also checked the customize – front section and the setting are saved. How long does it take for the post to populate?

Hello there!
You’ve done everything correctly so far.
Because of the way the current Art Work page is configured, you’ll have to create a new page onto which you’ll add your posts.
As a test, create a new page called “Art Work Test” or “Paintings” or anything you’d like.
Then, click the link below:
https://artistnazarhaidri.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fartistnazarhaidri.wordpress.com%2Fportfolio%2FIn the blue menu on your right, you’ll see, “Front.” For your Posts page, you’ll choose the page you just saved. Then, save your changes.
When you visit that new page online, you’ll see that your blog post now appears there.
Eventually, you can change all your portfolio pages over to posts with Featured Images and they’ll all appear properly on that page.
Once that is complete, you can get rid of the initial Art Work page and change the name of your “test” page.
You may find, now that you’ve done this, and created some pages that are “out of order” that you will have to re-order your menu at the top of your site.
You can do this by adjusting the page order in Pages → All Pages. Hover your cursor over a page name and click Quick Edit. You will see a field for Order. Your home page can be 0, and your pages can ascend numerically from there. This is the order they will appear in your menu.

We are almost done with layout and artwork page looks good. I have written to PayPal to find out the best way of creating the buttons are all paintings are different prices so does that mean i have to create a separate button for each painting? Waiting to hear from them.
Here are some more concerns:
1. Is there anyway of copywriting the paintings to no one can copy and paste them from the website? Or if they do then they will see a big Copywrite watermark across the paintings?
2. Its time to take the website live. What do you recommend as the best solution:
