How do I add projects that already exist in my blog archives to my portfolio page? Do I need to manually re-add them as new projects?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I know nothing about portfolio themes http://en.wordpress.com/themes/filter/portfolio/ like Espied and Illustr, so I can’t help you.
The relevant theme description link is http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/espied/
The relevant support doc links are

http://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/I’ll tag this thread for a Themes Staff response. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Ok thanks. (Espied is my current theme.) Should I repost my question on that support page or will your tag take care of it?
Thanks again.

Hi there,
When you’re setting up a portfolio in the Espied theme, you’ll need to create new portfolio projects for anything you want to add to that portfolio. There isn’t a way to automatically convert blog posts to portfolio projects, so if you have existing posts that you’d like to have as a portfolio project, you’ll need to copy and paste that content into a new project.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)
