How do I add tags to my posts?
-
I would like to use this feature, but I have no clue on how to do this.
-
At wordpress.com “tags” and “categories” are one in the same thing and each blogger creates his or her own.
-
You can add them when creating a post or a page in the right hand side and also by going to your Admin => Manage => Categories.

ok i thought so, but then i noticed in my dashboard that three of my posts have been “tagged” and the other 6 were not. What is the difference in that case?

You can create numerous categories/tags but until you actually assign a post to any particular category that particular category will not appear in your sidebar.
At present I can see only one category displayed in your sidebar – Gandi. I can see only one category/tag on all of your posts – Gandi. On all of your posts at the top under the title I see the exact same thing on every post: “Filed under: Gandhi”.
Perhaps you have created categories that you have not yet assigned to any posts. If so, then this would explain the number discrepancy.

no i put all posts in the “gandhi” category
on the lower left corner i see this now

If you have category tags that you did not add yourself then please send a feedback (button on top right hand corner of any blog page) to staff.
