How do I add text to a featured image?

    Hi,

    I’m currently using the Ubud theme for a travel based blog, and I’m trying to get the title of the post to appear on its featured image without having to hover my mouse over it. Can it be done or do I have to add text to the image before I upload it? I hope not because that will get cumbersome!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated
