  I just enrolled in the Amazon Associates program. How do I add the link to my webpage?

  Hi Monica,

  Here’s a step-by-step for how I used to implement Amazon affiliate links. Amazon lets you create the affiliate links with their “Product Link” builder or their Site Stripe tool. You can read more about creating the URLs here.

  You will only need the URL.

  Next, create a page or post on your blog. Highlight the text you’d like to link to the Amazon product page. Then follow the Link steps here.

  Paste the Amazon link into the URL field. The title field is optional. You may want to enter the name of the product you’re linking to or something similar.

  Then click “Add Link.”

  Once you publish that post or page, anyone clicking through that link will be cookied into your Amazon affiliate system.

  Hi Grace,

  Thanks for the response. What if I’d like to add the custom text & image link to the sidebar? The Product Link builder says to copy the HTML and then paste it into the code for your website?

  I believe only the link will work. If you want to add custom text and images to it, please note that we don’t allow image affiliate links – only text.

  You can add custom text within the Text Widget as you wish. You don’t need any code to add text.
