Are you referring to adding keywords to your site backend to optimize SEO? If so, that currently is not possible. WordPress.com handles SEO optimization for you. Beyond the normal optimizations like your sitemap, which you can view here:

We also have a Global Tagging (Topics) system that search engines love and we ping out to all the major engines every time you update your blog.

I went through the links & added another “blog” page. Please understated that I DO NOT know much AT ALL regarding websites/blogs. Is it possible to have someone do this for me?
FYI, I have pages, not posts…& I’d like to keep it that way!

Hi there,
Is it possible to have someone do this for me?
Can you explain exactly what you’re looking to do? Perhaps there is an easy way to get it accomplished!
FYI, I have pages, not posts…& I’d like to keep it that way!
That’s perfectly fine! If you’re looking to create more of a business website where the content will be static rather than ever-changing, this is definitely okay.

Okay – details…
We’re an interior design firm near Phoenix, AZ. A business website has been created with pages…and most of the info throughout will stay static, which is okay, as you mentioned. When creating each page, it was typed and designed outside of WordPress (in an Adobe program), therefore was imported as an image. As a result, there aren’t any words, phrases, categories, tags, etc., which help in searching for an interior design firm in AZ. What we want to accomplish is to be found in a search engine WITHOUT hiring a 3rd party to assist in making this happen. Any “DIY”tips?

Hi!
Ah – now I understand a bit more. It doesn’t sound like there are many options that will work with your current setup. WordPress.com users are not provided backend access or the ability to upload SEO-specific plugins. Right out of the box, WordPress.com blogs are setup well for SEO. We send sitemaps to Google each time you create a new post or page. However, since your pages do not contain any text (just images), you will likely not get the biggest SEO benefit. One potential workaround would be to use tags as explained here:
However, tags are only available on individual posts (not pages).
In short, the best solution would be to insert your information as text within your pages, not as images. I realize everything looks great as you currently have it setup. However, I really think you’re going to have an easier time in the future if you use text instead of images. I’m happy to help you get the look you want using text!
