how do I align gallery images so they are centred?
-
I can’t get my Gallery images to align and sit in the centre of the post.
WIDER images are aligned left in the window while thinner images are centred. I’ve tested this on both safari and chrome with the same result. See

It looks a mess, how can I get all the images in the gallery to be centred?
Cheers Nat

Hi thanks for your reply.
You can see the problem in the second link you posted
While the 2 narrow portrait format images are centrally aligned there is a wider landscape image below them which isn’t centred. You can see just the top of it in your screen grab.
I’ve tried using galleries with other posts and get the same result.

If you have the CSS upgrade the following CSS code would work:
img.size-big, .wp-caption.caption-big { display: inline-block; float: none; max-width: 1000px; }What appears to happening if that you have margins messed-up on the pictures.
With the code:

You would have to go to Dashboard–>Posts—>All Posts and select the Kalevala Country post. In the Post Editor find and select on Text.

You will then need to find the pictures in question and try wrapping them in some html with the use of the center property.Example: <p align=”center”> <img src=”YOURIMAGENAME.jpg” alt=”image description” height=”100″ width=”100″></p>
