How do I allow only certain people to view my private blog?
-
Hi,
I am having difficulties changing the setting to my blog to only allow one wordpress user to view my blog. I have invited her to be a viewer and contributor to my blog and she has accepted my request, but she still cannot view my private posts. What else can I do so that she can view my private blog posts?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

So, she does have a WordPress.com account? If not, she needs to create one. If she accepted the invitation before having an account, she must again click the “accept invitation” button again to view your private blog

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes she does have a wordpress account. She already had an account before accepting the invitation. Any other suggestions?

No problem –
Does she show up on your dashboard as a user/contributor? If not, the invitation hasn’t officially been accepted.
If she does, I would remove her. Delete the invite and repeat the process all over again. I have heard of that working. Let me know!

It still doesn’t work :( is it because of the theme I chose? I can’t really think of anything else.

It’s not because of the theme. Problems like this are very common.
PRIVATE posts are viewable only by blog admins and editors. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/ I suggest you make it password-protected instead, and send her the password.
