how do I allow only the first section of a post to appear in the reader?

  There seems to be a way to allow only a portion of a post to appear in the Reader. I can’t figure out how to do it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi rdaybell — if you go to Settings > Reading in your dashboard, you can update your settings so only a summary will appear (instead of the full text): http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/

  Scroll down to “For each article in a feed, show” and click the option next to “Summary.”
