How do I allow WordPress to handle my mail?
-
I assigned a custom domain registered with Enom to my WordPress blog. When I hooked it all up, it told me that email was being handled by another server even though I had not chosen any email service at Enom.
At Enom I set the DNS records to point to WordPress, so under Domain Management the A, NS and CNAME records look fine. There was an MX record pointing to p.nsm.ctmail.com . I deleted that, but when I go to the email tab under Domain Management it still does not allow me to set up forwarding addresses.
What do I need to change in order to get this to work?

Hi there!
Since your nameservers are pointing to us, you will need to add custom records if you are hosting your email elsewhere. You will probably need to add MX records, but take a look at this support guide for more information:
If you need help, please contact your email host and ask for the records you need added. Then, I can add them for you :)
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Actually the question was just the opposite of the one you answered: I want to use WordPress for forwarding, not some other service. Apparently the problem was that when I deleted the MX record, it took some time to propagate. I just checked and see that I can now set up forwarding.
