How do I apply CSS to Markdown block?

    I am trying to apply custom CSS to the Markdown block, but it does not work. I wanted to change the font color of the h1 tag and tried h1 {color:red;}. That did not work. The h1 tag applied to all the text in the block. I have no idea what I can do.

    If you know the way to change text colors in markdown editor, please let me know.
