How do I assign published blog posts to new pages?

  I am trying to redesign my blog to be more a professional business site and blog. I want to create more pages and assign previously posted posts to different pages. Right now they are assigned as a category.

  I also want to either display a menu on my static front page and I am having a hard time trying to do this with my newly chosen theme. Thanks!
