how do I attach a Facebook Like button to my blog?

  I copied the code from Facebook to get it into my blog. Have searched around in my dashboard but cannot figure out. When I searched my question in wordpress I read a comment about getting the code into tumblr. I cannot find tumbler. I’m not very techie….please help!

  We cannot use Javascript codes on wordpress.com free hosted blogs. If we do try to the software will strip the code out. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
