how do i attract blog viewers?

im a noob, just started an hour ago. mine is a company blog (supposedly, and its realy dull yet) how do i encourage blog visitors to view my site?

You got to make your blog intesting, make people to WANT to come back, not just serch it and think its boring. Why dont you try…
1. Adding wedgets to your side bar
2. Useing pictures to express your self, not words
3. Make it ez to view your blog a seach box is a must, use pages to tab and organize
4. Pictures pictures pictures, people are bord with just words. Now that dousent mean go crazy and make everything a picture, try useing pictures if you want to support evedence, or show something insted of describe it. Google or ask pictures is a GRATE way to attact viewers, i got over 90 hits in one day useing a lot of google pictures, and my blog usealy receved trafic of only 5 per day. GOOGLE PICTURES IS A MUST
5. Make sure all your spelling is correct, your grammer and capatalsation.
6. Wait, dont be in a rush, most blogs you see that have a ton of hits have been around for at LEAST a year.
7. Upload an avatar by clicking this link http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/profile.php. if that dusent work shoot an email to support they wil send you a working one.
Why are avatars so important, Becuse when you comment on other sites pictures are more memerabel then names, if you keep the same one for a while youll become populer and reseve more traffic.
I have a ton more tips on my weblog but youll have to wait a little bit untelli get the page up, im reserching a bit of it my self.

there’s only a few EASY suggestions if you want a good amount of traffic…
-Write about a wide variety of subjects which may lead to more TAGS. This way, when people search for something and it just so happen to match one of your tags, then you get more views. It’s really all about how you get your blog out to the biggest, most popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and Ask.com.
-Then of course the format of your whole blog. Is it user friendly? Would they be able to find what they need quickly? If it’s YES, then your readers might even refer you to their friends and that means more views! :]

Also using the WordPress Blog Search Engine alot of times other blogger’s have written a tutorialon the subject…

Put a picture of Mickey Mouse on your page…worked for me…I got 78 hits today, and the stats said Google referred the majority of them because someone was searching images of Mickey Mouse. Too weird.
