    That’s a really good idea. Backups of WordPress blogs are done by Exporting them to your computer. You can Export your site by:

    Go to My Sites → Settings → Export

    Save the file to your computer or a removable drive. This will not save your media files like videos, photos, or music. If you do not have copies of these already, there are additional steps you may take.
