how do I break a long post into page links?

Hello. I love wordpress!! I saw on another site (lifestyle theme) that they were able to break very long posts into different pages with a page2 link, page3 link, etc. I cannot figure out how to do this! Help?

The easiest way to break your post down into smaller bites is by using the <!–nextpage–> tag. Each time you use it, WP will create a page break, and automatically generate numbered page links for you!
The key here is to insert the text “<!–nextpage–>” (without the quotation marks!) where you’d like each page break to be. You need to do this in the full markup editing screen. If you go to the post in question, then “Edit Post,” on the top-right of your text box you’ll see two tabs, “Visual” and “Text.” You want “Text!”
Once you’re there you’ll see your post in unicode font, with some added bits of coding. Insert your <!–nextpage–> where you’d like your page breaks to occur. Once you’ve inserted your tags, click ‘Update’ and check it out!
