How do I build a new site to replace old (active) site?

    How do I start building the new site while the old one is still active? When the new one is built, it will replace the existing one. Where can I find a tutorial or manual? Thank you.

    Hi there!

    When you create a new site on WordPress.com, we’ll give it a unique WordPress.com address that lets you build and view the site without having to point your main domain to us. This means you can access your new site and build it while your old/active site remains accessible to the public.

    When you’re done with your WordPress.com site, you can then transfer/point the domain to your WordPress.com site so that it loads your new site.
